He retired in 1963 and his son-in-law, Roy Campbell assumed the operation. Was a member of the local Elks Lodge and a former member of the Prescott Kiwanis Club. Survivors included his wife, Margaret; 3 daughters, Mrs. Helen Jean Miller of Phoenix, Mrs. Dorothy Bradley of Tucson and Mrs. Maxine Campbell of Prescott; 4 brothers, C. L. of Pomona, California, Jay of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Dr. Otis Marler of Corpus Christi, Texas and Lowell of Mesa; 2 sisters, Mrs. Clista Dunbar of Chino Valley and Mrs. Della Davis of Long Beach, California and 11 children. Ruffner Funeral Home was in charge of the local arrangements. Burial was in the Mesa City Cemetery in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona.
